You must be genuinely sad we are over the worst of covid. That jab being developed must have been quite a blow to your EU aspirations. Still, fingers crossed for a long harsh winter and the old folk not being able to afford to turn the fire on, eh?

Sounds like the sort of thinking that got us Brexited in the first place - call me Dave thinking he could have a referendum to see off the ERG. Never overestimate the UK electorate.

That would be an absolute gift to the Tories in the red wall. They'd all be saying 'that smarmy lawyer's going to steal your Brexit' and win all the way. That's why Labour won't commit to the single market or customs union.

While the general profile for Gammons is older that's not universally true. Plenty of working age people in less affluent areas were taken in by the leave myths.

Tories would say that. We’ve seen first hand it was the disaster we was warned about. Many leavers have now changed their minds. Then there’s all the corruption of the Tories embezzling public money to their own & friends companies. They broke their own rules through Covid. Labour have nothing to offer unless they offer EU membership.
