It is a bit of a stretch, but there's a correlation (similar to Brexit of course) between voting patterns and education level.

There's at least some correlation between education level and intelligence, but of course there are other factors.

I use it as a warning to the rest of the UK, given the broader rise of populism.

The rise of the politics of deliberate division is pernicious and increasing, sadly, stoked by media that sees it as good business. Consensus and contentedness are just too boring.

It's going to be interesting whether this could be a tipping point where it dawns on Starmer that McSweeney and Blue Labour aren't electoral gold dust. Reeves was actually in tears in this morning's PMQs.
