I love a good vintage model.

Is there a more modern, lighter, carbon version?
Large print Kindle ?

I don't understand what this means. Do you think the survey respondents said they were satisfied but were actually unhappy?

The survey respondents who survived were happy, those who didn’t, were not, by definition, available to be surveyed.

How many of the respondents had experience of another healthcare system?

Similar questions are asked of patients in other countries about their own health care. Nobody is asked to compare the NHS with another country.

Here are some graphs for you. Can you see changes when the Tories are in charge?

Blair has the gift of the gab.
Starmer has the gift of the drab.

Drab is going up in the world.

My misgivings about Starmer are well known in this thread, but I do agree with this particular one.

The situation that the conservatives will leave to any following government will be so dire that expectations need to be managed, otherwise the conservatives will be back in no time.
We're in this mess from lack of spending....so we're going to fix it by more austerity?
Nah feck that. When you've got the likes of Osbourne slapping you on the back you know which side your on.

That's not the point, the problem is that the conservatives are going to leave fark all for the next government to spend, so it will be difficult to spend money that the conservatives peesed away to their mates.

Totally disagree..after a decade of austerity spending some money seems like a pretty good idea ! The constant whining about national debt is tiresome...there's allways money. We need to fund services and spend. The state can allways fund the public sector cheaper than the private sector.

This handy tool tells you how much your MP got in income, donations, and where and who from. I tried a few local ones. Looks like they are all decidedly greedy fekkers. One had income from 100 plus sources and a highest personal donation of £20k. Why would a private individual give an individual MP £20k? Surely you'd give it to the Party if it was a philosophy/values thing. You have to wonder...

Fun. I looked up my MP, a chap called Dominic Raab. He was good enough to accept a £400 donation from Shooting Star Children's Hospice. Usually people donate to Hospices, not the other way round. He has also accepted £25,000 from Russian Tory donor Dmitry Leus. Admittedly he has only declared £80,000 of donations, so quite economical really.
