I thought the claim for Ms Rayner was that she had achieved more Social Mobility than anyone else in UK, because she had been born in “poverty”. Don’t recall any mention of marginalisation or gender.

Fair point. I thought Starmers inference was with reference to her being a senior female MP and the fact that she had a baby at 16.

Last time I checked, men don't get pregnant and then have to run two people's lives whilst also studying and trying to get out of poverty.

Men also have difficulties, but I think it's fairly arguable that it's a bit harder for women.

If you say so. 😊 but, what is the scale of measurement? how do you compare "senior MP" against another achievement?

Probably the same scale of measurement that you used to to compare and say you "have a cousin who has done a tad better than her".

Quite.

On local news this evening there was a claim that a goldfish which lived to be the oldest goldfish in the world (age 43 years) was bought in Doncaster. It is even on Google, if you care to search. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.co...lived-so-long-his-scales-turned-silver-756781

Perhaps we can get Keir's claim in the record book?
