So my completely factual answer is mostly lies?

Come on then highlight the bit which is a lie.........

like i said, most of it....i havent got time to highlight which bits. But as i said its scaremongering at its best.

If you've seen me and Craig chatting on this forum you'll know that we disagree about many things (hence his pointing out that we shouldn't be starting a row over this) but on this point he's right. Senior nurses earn more than 40k. It's easy to look up for oneself.

Whether that's relevant to the wider point of strike action is a slightly separate issue...

Just ask someone familiar with the staff structure and pay scales in the NHS.

'Senior' in the NHS is a job title. It doesn't mean 'as senior as you can get'. I'm a trainee, when I qualify I'll be a 'senior' but still subordinate to a 'principal'.

I have 'Senior' in my job title because of age and experience!

Brilliant, now everyone will be able to figure out how much I earn, and I will get begging letters from all the poor socialists on here who can only afford to ride bikes and not shop in Waitrose. Thanks a fucking bunch. I will need the 16% pay rise to cover the extra security I will have to have around my house now

It depends what you mean by 'senior nurse', which has been the point of much of this discussion. If we're talking 'nurse as senior as you can get', or however it was phrased, then anything up to and including band 9, but as myself and Craig have pointed out more realistically we're talking bands 8b, 8c and 8d.

no this discussion is about striking and craig the cyclist insinuated that a senior nurse on 110k shouldnt get a pay rise of 16%, but is still yet to tell us why??

i mean a chief nurse gets 91k.....so how does a senior nurse get 110k?? im confused
