Nah, late night thinking is the best, and is probably where the peeps at Smartflower had the same thought.

It's a cool idea, but the cost is prohibitively massive. And the amount of engineering required to get it into any kind of workable resource is questionable.

Sunflowers don't track the sun once they've matured, which is a PITA when you want to get that 'classic shot', and all the buggers are turned the wrong way.

Bolivia has banned child marriage. 18 now, no exceptions. Unfortunately still a long way to go in addressing this issue in other countries.

They tend to be used in sunnier countries. There are single axis and dual axis ones.

Although sometimes they *don't* track the sun as too much sun can reduce efficiency - sometimes even a solar panel needs a bit of relief!

I've just read that it's currently legal in 34 states, and 4 U.S. states do not require any minimum age for marriage, with a parental or judicial waiver! So good news for paedos.
