There's a long history of protests that were either violent or destructive, or both. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luddite
I bet you would be the first one cheering if you where alive at that time and they would charge those ''protestors'' with terorism. And for the record, i don't believe there is a thing as voilent or destructive protest, the moment a protest is either voilent or destructive it is no longer a protest.
Even if some goverment officials embrace it because it suits their narrative.
