Good news for women's football as Everton opt to keep Goodison for their WSL team:

Might be a bit of an experiment and I suspect they'll probably end up reducing the capacity in the end but definitely a positive move.

Call me a cynical git. But I suspect current land values in that part of Merseyside aren’t as high as they would like.
The stadium will be sold once the asset value rises.

A cynical git who probably isn't wrong, but I'm glad they're doing it for the time being at least.

It's going to be interesting to see how England line up against Italy this evening.

Based on form alone, Carter should be nowhere near the starting XI, but the racist abuse she's suffered makes that a very difficult decision to make. Weigman is an excellent manager and I hope she's able to make the right decision for footballing reasons and rises above everything else.

There's obviously some truth in that but...

Why did Carter start the last game. It was obvious from the opening seconds she was a liability.
Why did the penalties remind me of the England men's team of yore. Knock out competition - get your penalties sorted.

To be clear, my services are not available should Weigman be considered for the cull.

Come on England.
