I know of one case where the property in question accidentally caught fire at about 0230 with nobody on the premises and was so badly damaged that it had to be demolished and new housing built on the site which just happened to be owned by a property developer.

Nah, they're not too terrible as employers go.
I know quite a few people who work for the NT in one capacity or another, they're generally pretty decent, and do the right things by their employees.
