I think it was on the main forum that TV viewing figures for the funeral were being discussed, but it looks like not even half the population of the country tuned in, which to my mind makes it highly unlikely that over half the population of the entire planet watched it.

They'll tell you any old sh1te...after having it rammed down our throats on every channel it was hardly avoidable.
It was that bad I actually used my kids Netflix.

I believe them enough to be of the opinion that fewer than half of the population of the world will have watched the funeral.

it was easily avoidable…….i saw zero of it yesterday, no matter how many channels it was on.

Oh FFS, BBC still can't let go.
Thanks to some tenuous connection to our region, (which doesn't even have a royal residence), the local news has had to replay parts of the funeral.
Even Mrs B, who is a royalist and had the good fortune to be out of the country for several days after QE2 died, said it was now overkill.

Not watched telly for 3 weeks, no idea what you're in about. It's not as if the Queen has died or Phil and Holly have somehow disgraced themselves is it....
