We have talked about Harris in our house a lot

Given the opinion of large parts of the USA to ambitious women
and the amount of White Supremacy and general racism

Then I think that she would be a great President - but at the moment she is the wrong gender and the wrong colour and would loose too many votes

Just at this point the country is not ready for that step

But I hope not - and she may do a better job in the campaign than Biden was

The latter. Obviously I'm here in the UK but the USA is influential and we usually have an idea of what the President has been up to, even if it's heavily filtered. But all the presidential news which has made it to me has been about Trump. He's dominated the headlines and I really don't know what the Biden administration has been doing, apart from not being the Trump administration.

The American Rescue Plan.

The Safer Communities Act.

The Infrastructure and Jobs Plan.

Executive Order 14076.

That last one in particular should be of interest to Andy and Aurora.

He did a helluva lot more in challenging times after the Trump administration had left a disasterpiece.

But yeah, he's old and we should care about his mental faculties.

This isn't a dig at you at all by the way, but he did a lot of good things.

The problem for him is that his strongest supporters are conspiracy theorists and distrust stuff like vaccines, or should I just say science.

The republicans are crapping themselves though. They spent the last 4 years attacking Biden as too old, confused etc. Now they have the oldest ever presidential candidate, with obvious signs of dementia. Harris is smart and articulate, and capable of destroying trump in a debate. I doubt if trump will be talking about weekly candidate debates any more.
