Apparently Senator Tim Scott has put his name forward to run as Republican nomination in the Presidential race

Thing is - he is black

Imagine the reaction of trump is a black man gets the nomination ahead of him!!!!!

Just heard a sound bite from him - don't get your hopes up - seems to think freedom of religion mean the freedom to worship God - which is not exactly how I understand it.
and he wants to finish the wall - dunno who he wants to pay for it but anyway

gotta be better than trump

I was interested in the bit about him on Politico that says he has to explain being single and childless; Republicans are weird.

His answer is that he hasn't met the right woman yet, but when he does they will have children.

He is 57.

What is the minimum age of marriage in his state?

Just so we have all the fact available??

Looks like Trump is about to be indicted.
Reports of his lawyers being called to a meeting with the special prosecutor Jack Smith and his team of attorneys. Which have been followed by a deranged outburst from Trump similar to that which preceded his indictment by attorney Bragg.

I look forward to another episode of him sitting in court looking like a sulking toddler.

Love how you’d rather have corrupt puppet Biden in power over Trump. Who got the FBI to cover up what his son was doing smoking crack playing with underage girls. Pictures are out now if you know where to look.

Congratulations on topping your deep end rubbish from the other day.

Personally I don't have a lot of time for Biden, but if you think Trump is any less of a corrupt puppet, then you've gone wrong. Massively, massively wrong.

Biden's bad for women, Trump's bad for everybody is my view. I think it's a huge mistake for Biden to run again. He's just not up to it physically or mentally. Even Obama's doctor was questioning his health. I can't see him lasting through another term.

How is Biden bad for women? First president to have a female vice president and nominated the first black woman to the Supreme Court. Not insignificant appointments.

Health wise, he's a lot tougher than people make him out to be, both physically and mentally IMO. Certainly more capable of anything than Trump ever was, or will be.

I'm not a biden fan, but it does bother me how people watch a few videos of the man falling over and slurring a few words and suddenly, he's on his death bed. Unless you have inside, secretly held knowledge of his health, how do you draw up the conclusions he's mentally and physically unable to perform his job aside from a few edited clips on the RW media rags?

Your explanation for the $2bn received by Kushner from the Saudis is? - And please don't make me laugh about him being some investment genius.
Hunter Biden's drug habit was known. If you are referring to pictures from his laptop, you can of course provide a chain of custody of the contents of the hard drive from the laptop repair guy, (who is being sued), to the MAGA extremists who wish to make capital from it?

He doesn't know what a woman is. Title IX makes sports unfair for biological girls and women. Funnily enough though, when it comes to being drafted for the army that will go on your birth sex...

I don't think Trump is a good comparison though. Perhaps you guys know 84 year olds who are still sharp enough to lead their country, but I think it's unlikely someone that age will be up to the demands of the job. He's not even that age yet but they seem to keep him away from the press and anything where he has to think on his feet.

As I've said before it's slightly depressing that a Biden or a Trump was the best a country the size of the US could offer. Not seeing any better candidates this time round either.

Well yes, i agree that the choices are depressing but the health of a leader simply cannot be determined by a few select cut and paste videos. They would have gone berserk in the 50's with Churchill having strokes and being paralysed down one side on one occasion... We've seen it with Merkel, Trump, Biden, Clinton, Putin, Lukashenko etc... More often than not corruption goes unreported and people falling over is reported in the psychopathic media and people go along with it, depending if they support their views or not. It is not in the least bit helpful, but im convinced it helps some people sleep at night. It very much seems to be a more modern phenomena which is perhaps not surprising given the access we have to the media.
As for people of age doing things, im not saying being POTUS is not a stressful job. But Biden is not running marathons, he at least tries to remain physically active, often going on bike rides and i bet the first thing that springs to mind is him falling off the bike that was banded around. But no-one appears interested any other times on his bike riding. Further to that, there aren't many 80 odd year old's riding bicycles, perhaps more so these days, but still not widespread. Meanwhile Trump eats burgers in front of Netflix...

I wouldn't mind betting that if you looked, you can find videos of most leaders all over the world slurring words, falling etc. It's just not important and detracts from more serious stories which go repeatedly unreported...

You're certainly right that in the past, and in other kinds of regimes, gaffes and errors don't see the light of day. Queenie was pretty sharp at 95, I suppose. I do think the compilation videos of him sniffing kids hair are rather selectively edited to say the least.
