Trump seems to have got rather twitchy about the New York AG's recent comments that she was prepared to seize assets if he didn't have enough cash to pay his recent civil fraud fine. In the last day or so his lawyers submitted a letter to Judge Engoron who heard the case, complaining that the AG had not followed the correct procedure in asking the judges clerk to record the judgement and asking for a reconsideration.
In other words, delay, delay, delay.
Judge Engoron has given it short shrift.

Having attacked Judge Engoron, the Judge''s wife and daughter, the Judge's clerk, the court generally and the New York AG, Trump through his lawyer went looking for favours.
His lawyer also claimed a number of business addresses are now in Florida. The AG Leticia James picked that up too and had the Judge block that claim also.
Time for Donny to stump up the money or somehow get a loan from a lender not registered in New York.

It looks like Trump is hurting financially.
Having failed to persuade Judge Engoron to delay lodging the decision in Trump's civil fraud trial, and thus starting the 30 day clock ticking for payment, either to settle or to enable an appeal. He is now trying the same with the E Jean Carroll defamation decision.

He posted the $5m or so required to make his appeal for the first Carroll hearing, with no noise. But with the second much larger Carroll, judgement being formally entered on 8 February, the ticking hand of payment is pretty much halfway around the clock face.
As with his fraud trial, Trump, through his lawyer, is again looking for a judicial favour from a judge who both Trump and his lawyer publicly attacked at time of and subsequent to the trial

I noticed yet another report on Trumps 'demented brain', this time for apparantly calling Melania 'Mercedes'.
That would signify a move to moderate to the severe stage. Personally I think his all out attack persona has been a main method of hiding failing faculties, something that has stood him in good stead. His 'zero connect' is yet another sign, though that hints of a bad mental state.

At this point I'd really rather Michelle Obama and Melania Trump were running. Both seem sharper than the two current candidates.
