The USA becomes more and more foreign with each day that passes.

It what you get when you have politically appointed judges. Our system isn't perfect but it's far better than what pans out over there, whether it's at a local level or in the Supreme Court. The current debacle is just a larger scale example of it in my opinion.

Not sure how their court time scales work but likely no decision until after the election presumably?

Well he was hardly likely to do anything else. The frightening thing is that if Trump wins, the USA will have a supreme dictator. So book in the second American Civil war and the rise of New Gilead for December 2024.
