"You know what happens when women don't come to terms with themselves"

Oh and "Something something something 'woke*' 'lgbtq carp'.. "

*Take note of the use of this word by this guy @Unkraut - he's making out that this woman disqualifies herself from his respect by being gay. And that he himself is the victim of 'wokeness'.

You might want to rethink your use of that word, I've never heard it come out of the mouth of anyone who really respects other human beings.

In case anyone thinks this guy's attitude is incredibly rare..
Believe me, it really isn't..

It's the kind of thing routinely promoted by incel / rape culture / violent pornography / misogyny adherents.

Imo it's decent guys who need to be aware of, and countering this kind of thing far more strongly, rather than just ignoring it, and leaving it to women to have to highlight and fight.

"You know what happens when women don't come to terms with themselves"

I thought the main part of the video was bad enough but the last 1m45s of it were pretty chilling.

Thank goodness he was stupid enough to a) tell the police what he did, b) record it and c) put it on social media for all to see.

Thing is, you don't get to believe this kind of behaviour and attitude is 'justified' all by yourself

This is encouraged and normalised by a whole foetid culture.

And ignored / excused by many others, as just 'boys being boys' or variation on that excuse.

One of the problems of the WWW

If is extremely useful for people with minority opinions and situations so they can find people with the same problems and situations and can relate to them and support each other

but that applies to nut jobs like Incels, also paedophiles and far right people

as well as people with unusual medical conditions, people fighting for specific justice problems (e.g. imprisoned by foreign regimes) and all sorts of other 'good causes' where people from all across the country (or even World) need to get together

the phrase '2 Edged Sword" comes to mind but at least they can be more visible to 'The Authorities' than a small group meeting in a stuffy basement (e.g. of a Pizza Parlour in Washington!!)

Well yes, I think the double edged sword thing of t'internet, is fairly well established.
But it was queried earlier whether or not it was better to ignore groups such as incels on t'internet

But I think it's important they are monitored, exposed, and that their vile misogynistic narrative - which leads to real world harms, be challenged.

A deserved sentence for a calculated and premeditated murder. I'm not really a 'throw away the key' type but sometimes I'm persuaded to the merits of that argument.

The judge just set a minimum term of 38 years for her murder.
Extremely disturbing cctv footage was shown to the court suggesting he followed up to four different women that night, and he had only just been released from prison.

Good, maybe not long enough as AS says but something.

I dont believe that a certain proportion of the population are just born 'evil barstewards' I think there must be some cause, or chain of causes that sets this off.

That's not to suggest there any 'excuse' for assaulting or murdering, but understand causes and patterns, might lead to a reduction in harms done.

Just 'leaving them to rot' might play into our 'revenge' and 'just deserts' mentality but I'm
not sure it makes the world any safer.

The old nature/nurture debate!

Has that debate ever had a winner.

Many more people have a tough time in life without turning out bad. What makes them different to the ones that do?

Well I know.

But it's rare that perfectly well adjusted people do murdering either - by definition I s'pose.
