I have a grudging respect for him in resigning at an early stage in the story, and for going on TV today to acknowledge his errors.

I wish more MPs would do the same when caught.

The interview showed no reflection or acknowledgement of the harm the porn industry causes, which is disappointing, but maybe that will come later.

I thought it was more...." I was caught, but let's see what the investigation says before I admit any guilt".
He can feck right off as far as I'm concerned.

I agree that would have been the right thing to do.

You said:

That's not what happened.
But that was his initial response....I saw him on tv saying this ? He was going to wait for the investigation but has chosen to resign. It was more like he was forced or told to resign I'd say...
Sky News understands Neil Parish is now likely to quit within hours after massive pressure from friends on him to step down

The Tory “porn MP” has been told by allies his position untenable because of the way he kept quiet and allowed speculation form about Tory colleagues.

If it was his decision, I agree. We don't know that it was though, there may well have been (hypocritical) pressure from above in an attempt to reduce the effect of a sleazy Tories vibe ahead of the local elections.

Did you see him on the TV saying this?
