Amazed listening to the wireless, how many people still supporting Johnson. This country is truly farked....

I think there's a funny thing happens when a politician resigns under these circumstances. There's an immediate bit of amnesia and a bit of sympathy... don't kick people when they're down sort of thing and a bit of 'He/she wasn't so bad really..'. That sentiment didn't really extend to Corbyn but I think it did a bit to Thatcher, and certainly May.

Corbyn was never in Government, perhaps, many people feel (rightly or wrongly), that being PM doesn’t mean you can solve every problem, or, indeed, any problem.

Johnson, with his swipe at the Tory party, is both a remoaner and a remainer. And he didn't resign as PM, he agreed to stand down as leader of the Conservative Party. He moaned and he remains.
