Makes you wonder why they sat on this for a Year though?
Not just the paper's but everyone who had the photo's, it's one monumental bollock drop I have to admit.

They didn't. The papers are being leaked to. It's almost as though people took videos and photos as insurance in case they got thrown under the bus by an untrustworthy leadership...

Or it could be that parts of the Conservative party wanted an insurance policy to get rid of Johnson if he became a liability...

What's that then? What do you think they stand for? Genuine question.
Well, listening to the opinions of the vast majority on here which I gather are mostly 'left leaning ' at best, I rarely hear something I agree with so on that basis I doubt I would be of the same ilk.

It's just possible they didn't want to be seen to be destabilising a government trying to cope with a pandemic. The last thing you need in the middle of this is a rancorous leadership election.

The other alternative is they were keeping their powder dry for a more opportune moment.

I think this is just slightly more likely ;)

Sounds feasible, still think there may have been earlier opportunities to let the Cat out of the bag though.
Be an interesting few weeks that's for sure.
