I don't think I've hated anyone or anything in my entire life, not too struck on celery though I must admit.

My partner makes a gorgeous salad with celery.Chopped finely with chopped cherry tomatoes,fresh chilli,capers,basil,glug of olive oil and bit of basil.Mix it all together and let in marinate.Season with salt n pepper.

There are many words stronger than 'hate' loath, detest, disgust. abhor, abominate, despise. execrable, repulsive, nauseous, sickening, despicable. revulsion, odious, obnoxious, detestable, obscene, hideous.
Any one of these seems apt.
