There are several views from doorbell and household security cameras in the hands of the media. One from a door camera appears to show the van close following the bike but as it's obstructed by hedges we can only see a short section of road. Another from what looks like a gutter level camera with a view of the length of the road, shows a gap of 10+ seconds.

That's my underlying question with the doorbell camera which has the time interval between bike and van much less than the overview from the gutter level one.
