The point is that the difference between a council estate scumbag and a Prime Minister is smaller than you might imagine, and that where you are brought up is not as important as how you are brought up. One person is labelled as a scumbag, the other as a bit of a japester or a scallywag.

If only every council estate scumbag had access to an £800,000 line of credit arrangement.
Fancy not being able to afford to look after your own family.

30p Lee seems more excercised about a poor family having a McDonald's than he does about his former boss's corrupt £800k "loan".

There's that weird phenomena where vestigial historico-cultural memories lead people into reflexive cap-doffing to the wealthy rather than querying how it is that they gained access to such wealth.

You're working very hard to 'other' the capacity for evil.

"The line separating good and evil passes not throigh states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either, but right through every human heart, and through all human hearts. This line shifts, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained."

― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

Very thought provoking.

Osmosis is impossible when the substance has to pass through something exceptionally thick

I prefer reverse osmosis myself, just the thing for cleaning windows.

I see you and 'pingpong chump' are out together again.

Got any evidence or a link, you know people like that sort of thing.

Or is it just your opinion?

So the only difference between you and I is you 'care' why they're scumbags and I don't, I'm sure it'll never happen but I hope for your sake you never fall victim of scumbaggery and if you do it would be interesting to see how sympathetic you are then.

Again you miss the point. The reason that I care why they are scumbags is that we can reduce the number of scumbags by treating the cause and not the symptoms. I have been a victim of scumbags, and the fewer we have in the world, the better.

It's fairly well evidenced. Look at Alexander Boris De Pfeffel Johnson. If he did not have access to the world of the wealthy he would probably be in prison or homeless, not least for failing to pay child support.

I was referring to the 'cap doffing'.

Evidence of it, along with flag shagging while we're on.

And did you refer to them as such or did you feel sorry for them and think that society had let them down and it really wasn't their fault at all?

All this started because I used the word scumbag and someone pointed out that they're all 'fellow humans' which they are, still scumbags though.

And you lefty lot wonder why when voting time comes around people like me can't bring themselves to put a cross in the Labour box, because they're associated with people that have the sort of views I've been reading on here.

Do you honestly think I've got anything in common with the likes of Sunak or Boris as individuals, the problem is my views are so far removed from how people on here see things how could I possibly vote how you do?
