But if you are broke, need a job and there are jobs there, why not take one? Because what you have written there looks dangerously like you think these jobs are below you.

I absolutely do not. I applied for the job, filled out the application, didn't get offered it.

My point about the questions is that they are terribly worded, and variations on the same theme.

You refuse to tell us what you do for a living but quite happy to chuck abuse at people who actually have a job or are doing their best to get a better job.

Sits on a bench in Newport in a sodden sleeping bag tapping away on his Nokia 3310.

Tears rolling down his cheeks at his latest brilliant post.

Passers by think he's just a jolly old jakey, but those tears hide a dark secret...

Because if you know what the employer wants and it's likely to be a key skill, there is literally no point. @AndyRM is quite right that Unity and Unreal Engines are very specific pieces of software. If you don't know them then it's very likely that you aren't going to get offered an interview.

I'd do the same as Andy. Of course it can be a bit self limiting but it also ensures (hopefully) that you aren't applying for something inappropriate or completely out of your comfort zone. Some people have the confidence to go into a job and make stuff up in the sound knowledge that they won't be found out immediately. Some people are terrified of doing that.

What business is it of anyone what i do for a living….this is a forum of about 20 people with a slight interest in politics. Your not my friends or family, so to be honest its nobodies farking business on here, but mine.

I couldnt give a flying fark what any of you do for a job, its not my concern. But if your going to be open and put your personal life on the internet, be ready for questions, ridicule and distain…..if you dont like, dont tell anyone your business.

and if i was struggling for money and looking for a job, the last thing i would be doing is coming here and complaining about interview questions and thinking stacking shelves in a supermarket is below me. I will and do what it takes to earn money and keep me and my family fed, watered and warm.

you really are a piece of work. there are people living rough in this country, doing exactly what you state above and you want to make a laugh and joke about it, to get likes from your internet buddies....what a prick

You'll notice that nobodies liked it? If you think I post for likes, you are sadly mistaken.

To be honest, so what?

They are the questions they want you to answer, just answer them. Use a bit of creative licence and put in the answer what you want them to know about you. Politicians do it all the time, they get asked a question about A, they start their answer with 'well there are two things here...' and proceed to tell the interviewer about B.

Do the same, 'Can you tell us about your experience with Unity?' 'While on my blah blah course we covered several software applications including Unity. The course led me to a degree in blah blah which has led me to a successful 15 year career with blah company, blah company and more recently blah company where I was head of whiffle sticks and making shit up'

So lying like a politician in a job interview would be your advice?

Not really my style.
