No it wasn't, except when viewed through a NACA virtue signalling wokerati (sic) lens. But the sense or nonsense of my post is certainly a matter of opinion and therefore open to criticism...fair or unfair...which is only fair.
I was not saying that the specific Octopusgate criticism of GT was fair or unfair but that, especially in the field of political argument, once one enters the fray it would be unfair and unrealistic not to expect criticism. No one is above that and getting upset (which I am not sure she is, but others are on her behalf) over criticism is rather pathetic. She in fact recognised why there was criticism by removing the octopus toy from the photo and explaining she was unaware of the symbolism.
Meanwhile thousands are being killed in Gaza and fossil fuels are busily being burned, but hey, that pales into insignificance compared to unfair criticism of one seasoned campaigner and user of social media...that hotbed of unfair criticism.
