You clearly have no idea how this is a red rag to a Bull do you?

I worked with a fella named Michael, but preferred 'Mike ' everyone called him 'Mick' upon which he would correct them by saying " by the way it's Mike ", not once did I hear anyone call him Mike, I worked with him for 12 years!

Especially funny when someone gets pissy about it.

There's a lad now at our place with a typically christian name as a surname, we always call him by his surname (Norman) as it ticks him off.

Now THAT really is being a c*nt for daffodil's sake jowser.

shep - for some reason you think i like you.....i don't, your the worst part of every tory voter and more.

Why on earth would I think you like me?

You're a plastic football fan that happened to vote for Brexit the same as I did.

what i was getting at with my reply to unkraut, was theres no point asking someone to read a report and when they dont, accuse them of not being a well informed brexiteer....the vote happened 6yrs ago now, as far as i am concerned ( and many others will feel differently ) i was well informed to make my decision and i stand by my decision as i stated above....

now if people dont want me in this thread ( cause im just sh*t stirring), then its probably best that people dont reply or ask me questions. then i can leave this thread alone and all the remainers can gather around the fire pit singing come by are together

Again, today in things I didn't do...

It's a news article, about Brexit. And how it's a disaster, if that helps?

You're free to leave this thread at any point. The only person keeping you here is yourself.

It's a fairly useful illustration of the dangers of a stubborn refusal to face facts, or to read widely on a subject though

Quite instructive in many ways...

Something nasty in the woodshed
Ages ago I asked Jowly The Bear if there were any circumstances under which he would accept that voting leave was a mistake. He became enraged (as bears sometimes do) and roared that he absolutely wouldn't, ever, never. Or ursine bellows to that effect. Therefore there's no point in him reading the article as he's right and it's wrong. One of the many benefits of Brexit is that he's right, apparently.

Im not stirring anything…..i answered the question honestly and have said nothing else

how is that sh*t stirring

did i vote brexit in 2016- yes
im happy were out of the EU - yes
would i vote yes again - yes
has the UK government made a clusterfark of it - yes

am i happy with my decision - yes

so there your answers, no pot stirring, no winding up, just simple honest answers.

as far as why am i here goes, cause clowns like you keep asking me pathetic questions and keep drawing me back into this thread……stop asking questions, i stay out of here.

it really is that simple for me.

Why are you happy out of the EU with the huge economic damage that's being done as well as shafting mainly young people's future choices and potentially splitting the UK apart?
Why would you vote yes again despite the issues I've mentioned?
Why are you happy with your decision despite the issue mentioned above? How can anyone be happy with that?

Classic face saving. And a refusal to face facts and take responsibility.

So long as it's p*ssed off outward looking , internationalists, who see great benefit in cooperating with their neighbours on the big issues, it's all good 👍🏼

There are many things I or anyone could critique about how the EU is run
The CAP needs reforming (in progress) and much else besides..

But childishly leaving the club, because we don't like some of the sensible grown up rules - that are there for everyone to be protected by - wasn't ever the solution to any of it .

Now we're isolated, exposed, and having far less influence, and lost credibility.

But still in truth subject to those EU rules if we want to stand any chance of trading, and doing any other business with our nearest neighbours..

And we've lost so much more besides..

For what .??

Zilch, zero, a massive crushing, nothing.

It's also a useful illustration of face saving. People who know they've screwed up but refuse to admit it, even privately, and hate anyone daring to point out observable and provable facts.

That's about of it, nobody 'likes' being proven wrong do they??
