Why indeed. What Ralph Schumacher has to do with Sir Keir is anyone's guess...

In case anyone didn't meet Ralph on that day, here is a signed picture of him for you to print off. Not quite the same but it'll have to do.

To me, vision quests are all part of the tragedy of first-past-the-post electoral systems. The Labour vision swing seems to have gone as follows:
  • Tony Blair — New Labour firebrand
  • Jeremy Corbin — Old Labour wet blanket
  • Keir Starmer — The Labour brand without the fire
All in all, a swinging time: if only a governing party would have the courage to introduce thoroughgoing proportional representation all serious parties would have some influence on policy and decent policies could be evolved with time-horizons going out to 50 years or so. It don't mean a thing if all you do is swing.

Being biased I find the right are there to stay in control by any means possible. On the latest
Any Questions, Robert Jenrick effectively fillibustered the show to death.

Know the bollocks you are voting for.

farkin 'ell, Diane Abbott a 'vision', nightmare more like!

Diane Abbott was politically foolish in this instance, but she still gets more hatred and invective directed towards her than anybody else.

Can't think why...

Would it have helped to have pointed out to Sir that there isn't a Scottish Labour Party? There is literally no such thing.

It's a story with many layers of stupid. A veritable ogre of bollocks and bullshit.
