The figure for economically inactive is actually lower now than it was 20 years ago.

It's the old buggers that are the problem. I think we should cull them.

Do you have a source for that assertion?, I thought "economically inactive" was a fairly recent (ie post pandemic) expression and grouping?

Those stats are for working age people (18-64) rather than all people, so whilst you may be correct it won't be visible from those stats.

I used those stats because they were available and not for the break down by ethnicity*. On the left is the figure for "All".

*although doubtless your fückwitted ally will manage to work himself into a froth over them.

You'd expect white people to have a higher number of economically inactive folk seeing as they would have a far larger number of retired people, and an increasing number, in their stats. Perhaps it's offset by the number of younger white eastern europeans who are of working age. It's a bit pointless including people over 67 in the stats.

Why have we introduced a persons skin colour into the equation?

Take it up with the guy who chose to link to a chart where the breakdown was by ethnic group. Other non-skin-colour-based charts were available. It was simply an observation that you'd think the inactive white people % would be higher due to population numbers and retiring, even at 60.

If you look at the full ethnic breakdown it's more or less as you would expect, with nothing to get excited about.

Ok. As I would expect.

LOL. The very first column was 'All'. At no point did I or anyone else make reference to ethnicity.

Only you.

You are having an absolute mare tonight, aren't you.

It's sometimes relevant, just like sex is, but as my earlier comment was a passing observation - which wasn't derogatory about any group - your responses just look like your usual endless attempts to sling mud.
