WTF has this got to do with anything ?

Where Mugabe ended up is a similar place to where this government was always predicted to end up towards.
They no got to continue the trend because people feared the direction Corbyn would take us. Which no doubt would be a very similar place, and possibly more a certainty.

The, now to be unknown, question about Corbyn is 'how many weeks would it have taken him to be sanctioned by the EU and/or US?'.

I do not think Corbyn would ever have allowed his hands to be tied behind his back.

Is it really so difficult for Starmer (or anyone else) to have a decent vision, when they could just take a look around, without prejudice? Or is the real challenge tactical, due to nearly insurmountable structural impediments?

Source of figures: Britain’s winter of discontent is the inevitable result of austerity - FT

By quitting as a Conservative MP in 2019 when Boris became PM?
So anything pre PM Johnson was ok lol...
In December 2018 Soubry said she'd rather have a Tory Govt that left the EU than a Corbyn led Labour Govt that remained in it. For people like Soubry, the priority was never about stopping brexit, its always been about stopping a socialist Labour Govt.
Might I also suggest you take a look at her voting record ?

Do you think it's possible that she might have changed her mind?

Changed her mind about what exactly ? Campaigned for austerity that killed over 300,000 people and is proud of her record which includes....
51 X times cut benefits
14 X for the Bedroom Tax
14 X against bankers bonus tax
23 X to reduce corporation tax.
I'd like to think she can look back on that and think feck !
Anna Sourby changing colours and I'm meant to be what...excited,glad that she endorses Starmer.🙄
