Where be that to then? Looks fab....
Glenveagh National Park - Donegal

It is rather fabulous, and I found a perfect place for my tiny tent at the head of this Lough..

Plus a gentle breeze to keep off the midgies..

So after a month, I'm not recovered yet and things have moved more slowly than id have liked. I was re-hospitalised with an internal bleed not long after the procedure to clear and put a stent into my bile duct owing to the difficult anatomy of my particular bile duct and my blood pressure went dangerously low for a period. All that has been dealt with now and my jaundice has all but cleared up. My stent will be removed in about a month and at the same time i will be having an internal ultrasound and then i hope they remove my gallbladder as i feel life wont be returned to normality until its gone as it will contract and cause sharp, stabbing type pains whenever it feels like it. Im lucky enough to work for myself so i can put that on hold to focus on recovery and i've got plenty to catch up with on here to turn my brain to mush to take my mind of such matters.

The postal delivery times are pretty random here, but usually afternoonish. So I went to the shops, got invited for a coffee, and when I got back there was the 'couldn't deliver' card on the mat. Bugger. Then shortly after that a letter crashed through the letterbox. I ran out, chased the postman down, and explained about the missed delivery and that it was urgent medical stuff. He said he'd tried to deliver it earlier and had taken it back to the sorting office. But not to worry, he'd drop it in on his way home. Which he did. Aren't our posties wonderful (shame about their employer).

That is really positive news. It might be that recent events are hitting the popularity of populism. One hopes.
