Greggs is lush. I loved it when they trolled everyone by reversing their sign on Northumberland street so it would display the right way round in folks' pictures of Fenwicks Christmas window display.

Yeah, that noncery was abhorrent.

Someone went rogue one year doing the Fenwicks window and made a weird tableau of elves in suggestive positions with Mr and Mrs Claus. It took a couple days before anyone noticed and had it remodelled.

As regards the food, the filled rolls are no more unhealthy than ones from other places.

That may be de rigueur on Tyneside, but down here there are no such rules. Labourers, office workers, even refined elderly cyclists like me stand in the queues.
