I didn't watch/listen to his speech, he seldom seems effective at delivering a coherent message. However, what I think was meant to be his meaning, ie polarisation based on race or religion seldom produces a good outcome, is something I would agree with.

It would be nice if he directed the message to those of his own party that have made a career out of it and brought it into the mainstream.

In all honesty, I don't know. But I'm uneasy.

There would be uproar, and people would call for the monarch to dismiss the government, which I suspect he would.
