It seems Wagner are claiming it was shot down. That appears to be the suggestion. Interesting to see what propaganda can be spun out of this in the Kremlin. Probably a Ukrainian drone strike or CIA drone strike. Mind you, they could say the pilot got a Belgian pastry stuck in the flight controls and Prigozhin heroically tried to free it before plunging to the Earth and would likely be swallowed down by the majority. Such is the control the Kremlin has on the media.

The moral of the story would appear to be, be sure not to travel on the same aeroplane/car/ship as anyone who is on Putin's black list.

BBC have rowed back a bit, and are now only say he was on the passenger list.
It could be a clever way of faking his own death?

First ex Putin spokeperson has indeed blamed Ukraine, which isn't very smart considering how far it is inside Russia. But remaining Wagners are pissed, wonder if they dare to march to the Kremlin again, i think they won't but we will see.

This is indeed a dangerous situation. Here we have several hundred, perhaps, several thousand trained, armed mercenaries. They have to have all of the usual "staples" of human life, how and from where are they going to get it?

Apparently there were 2 planes in the air at that time - some distance apart

And later on that evening the most watched aircraft was a similar one on the same route (I think)

could be that he swapped planes - but no evidence one way or the other

of course - Russia may supply some evidence - but ...........

there is a video surfacing on which you see two white spots and then the plane coming down. Just as with MH17 so the second plane is probably a variant on the ''ukrainian ghost fighter jets'', which Russia claimed shot down MH17 and it's either a other buk or some other form or air defence/surface to air missile that cleaned up shot down that plane.
Either way in an interview a few years back Putin claimed he was actually very ''foregiveable'' he was then asked what was unforgiveable the answer was ''treason'' exactly where he accused prizogin off.
