I may be wrong here, I'm sure Rusty will correct me if I am, but I'm not sure he's asking for a return to fracking, or saying he supports it, he's saying that the reliance of Europe on Russia for its fossil fuels, and the certain distruption to that and turning away from Russia in general, will likely see renewed calls for fracking in countries like, for example, the UK.

He may however be calling for fracking on the Beacons, I don't doubt he'll let us know.
Why not open the coal mines again ? Boost the economy in Wales in the process.

Oh yeah?
So what's the colour of the boathouse in Hereford?
Isn't it more 'eeerford'?

Who do you think you are? I know what the SAS are. Someone mentioned Spetsnaz been killed at an air field. I said I have no proof of this. Spetsnaz are a Russian equivalent special forces to ours which is the only reason I compared them. You know total cr@p.
& instead of contributing in a sensible way you just go out to antagonise peaceful members of C.C.
So no description of what you mean by "amazing"?

I know we don’t want to believe it’s true but Russian generals are very clever. I don’t think we’ve seen anything from them yet. Just some prodding and poking to see what happens.

Come now Milzy, not that I don't love you to bits of course, but you are the king of deliberately inflamatory copy and paste, a cheeky chappy of the art.
Now, as entertaining as this may be, peaceful is not the first adjective I'd use to describe it.

I had a point, I made my point, now we're all waiting with bated breath for @Rusty Nails to let us know if he supports fracking or not, or if he was making a wider point about the likelihood that we will see a renewed push for it.
You started banging on about coal mines.
Right I get you now....you didn't have a view on it,you were just a spokesman for Rusty
I've little interest if he supports it or if you do...or will you wait to see if it's the popular choice.

When you live in the area there fracking and going under your property, earth tremors....maybe you'll try and sound a little less enthusiastic ?
Or maybe you haven't a clue....
Who sounded enthusiastic? Perhaps instead of your permanent and rather pathetic sense of outrage at anyone who dares even mention the possibility of something you disagree with, try changing the habit of a lifetime and actually reading what is written. I suggested there was a possibility that there would be increased pressure to start it, and I still believe it is a possibility......not a certainty or desirable.

Only time will tell.

I lived a lot of my life in an area blighted by coal mining and am personally all too familiar with its legacy, including emphysema, subsidence, flooding and spoil heaps, including Aberfan, so please do not lecture me like some latter day convert on damage caused by underground fossil fuel extraction.

I know you will not tell me where I showed enthusiasm, because I did not, but will continue acting like some latter day Don Quixote.

You do seem to have an interest whether he supports it or not, considering you are attacking him for supporting it.
My view on it was, as already stated by Rusty above, that you were not reading, or maybe understanding, what was written.

Who would you think is for this renewed push for fracking ? Wouldn't be anyone with a vested interest...maybe the likes of Steve Baker amongst others. Id be suprised if he hasn't a few 'intrests' in fracking companies.
As for a pathetic sense of outrage lol....I'm hurt 🙄

So you'll understand my not being to keen...

In fact asking someone who spent a lot of time protesting against this ,it was more like 50 odd earth tremors in a year near Blackpool when Quadrilla were drilling.
