Apparently, according to Twitter rumour, a delegation of the 1922 committee may see Johnson to tell him that if he doesn't resign then they will change the rules. I hope the end result is that they end up having to drag him out of the front door of no.10.

I think there is something sad about watching all this from this side of the Channel. I don't mean sympathy for the government, but that Parliament with centuries of tradition and acccumulated wisdom and 'long cotinuity' should be reduced in reputation by this current set of Tory MP's. There is nothing new in this as such, but so much sleaze over so short a period of time.
