It's simple good manners to answer straightforward and reasonable questions on a discussion forum, isn't it?

It's also simple good manners not to make nine posts, one after the other, slagging off another member, but that doesn't stop our resident wannabe enforcer - as just one example.

I've answered several direct questions in this thread today and not answered others.

If I ask another member a direct question and he doesn't answer, I just assume that's because he doesn't want to answer.

What I don't do is get all worked up about it.

You risk leaving readers with the impression that your opinions are hard for even you to support. You may not care about that but it's an odd attitude to adopt as a regular on a forum specifically set up for chatting about different points of view.

The Finnish PM Sanna Marin has apologised for going clubbing (blimey) in breach of Covid regs.

Despite being a leftie, I reckon I'd rather attend her next illegal gathering than Boris's.

My post was not about your character at all, but your rather tedious, predictable and limited form of posting on what is a discussion forum about politics and current affairs.

I know nothing about you or your character, other than as a self-claimed fighter for the underdog like your alter ego avatar, Clint, and as far as I know you may spend your spare time feeding the homeless and helping old ladies cross the road.

I do, possibly, reply to you more than other posters, although I am not keeping count, because you are one of the most frequent posters on this forum, and the one who definitely posts the greatest amount of partisan, contrarian rubbish with the least amount of political substance.

It's about your posts, not you.

I fully understand that you will post and reply to what you like, as you seem to tell us, conveniently, every so often when you have no substantive answer to a straightforward question.
