Well yes:-
  • £100bn / year Brexit
  • £25bn Test and Trace
  • £0.5bn Nightingale Hospitals
  • £66bn HS2
  • £8bn - Unusable PPE
  • £3bn - Covid furlough fraud
  • Boris's No 10 redecoration

Plus billions of small costs which never see the light of day unless, someone has been there to see it.

We had an accountant from years ago worked in a sector of tax avoidance . His favourite example was £100k of new chairs for the royal navy headquarters, that never got used, stored for years. So not only waste, buying them, paying for storage.

News is littered with small articles of waste for mothballed projects, failed projects.

Here's one, why the hell are the UK tax payers forking out for this

UK funded diversity scheme in Mauritius during Chagos negotiations

Why are we paying for this when we are supposedly paying to give away territory

Let's see.
  1. The headline is wrong. It's an aid package not a diversity scheme.
  2. The UK removed the Chagossians from Chagos, thus remain responsible for them. That's how stuff works.

30p Lee can't tell the difference between:-
  • If someone wants to identify as a Llama, we shouldn't take the piss out of them
  • Everyone should be able to identify as a Llama

Yes we should take p!ss or have them get psychiatric help.

Either way, they should not be in any roll of governance with a skewed sense of reality
