“Patriots for Europe”

At least the coalition of enemies comes out if the woodwork.

China are now undergoing a 'military exercise' with Belarus on the Polish border.

Things should escalate on Monday. We’ve got Zionists wanting war with Islam on top of the theatre of war in Ukraine. Let’s hope this WW3 keeps localised. Doesn’t help with Tommy Robinson AKA Stephen Yaxley-Lennon stirring things up. I’m sure he’s a paid actor and on Israel’s payroll.

Ukraine are undertaking incursions into Russia and have secured land in Russia.
That’s a big escalation.

Nah, it's been of and on now, think the earliest was last year, but they have to do something and if you have a enemy with so many more troops/soldiers forcing them to stretch out and go on the defensive instead of an offensive seems like a sensible move. Especially weapons like Himars where rendered useless in the offensive from Russia's side as the Rusians found ways to jam it.

It's bold for sure....
Whilst it plays into Putin's narrative that they are surrounded and constantly under-threat from the west, it also shows to the population how his 'Special Operation' is backfiring. They can see that they have become less safe. As time and body-bags stack-up the truth will out.
It emboldens the Ukrainians too - it's good internal propaganda.
It also means Putin might have to withdraw troops from Donetsk thus weakening their advance, and also lay the redeploying forces open to attack by Ukranian forces.
IF, and it's a big IF, holding Russian territory could be a bargaining chip with Russia.
Ultimately the political impact is greater than the military.

I suspect that is the big picture.
It paves the way for truce talks with Ukraine having something to bargain with.
