What should he have said on a visit to UK soldiers in Estonia, or should he have not gone?

"Get over yourselves, you're nothing special compared to other countries and what on Earth are you doing here anyway as part of NATO in a country who is a member of NATO and is feeling totally unnecessary concern over the nice, friendly big neighbour next door to them"

I know it's always open door on Starmer for some, and his predecessor has different opinions on NATO, but, under the present circumstances, just get real.

It's meaningless fluff. He knows it, we know it, everybody knows it. He's going through the motions, no big deal.
Maybe you like meaningless fluff ? I can't be arsed myself.

While it would indeed be hilarious if the leader of Her Majesty's opposition came out and straight up called the British armed forces a bunch of pussies, there's war on the horizon and he'd like to be the one to lead them in it so it's probably best for him to at least be seen to show them, and our NATO allies, a bit of respect.

Well that cut her off in the middle of a word, never mind a sentence so I can't interpret what she meant. Are we talking policy as in what Labour would do were they in power, or is it what they are calling on the government to do, given their understanding of how the Home Office is functioning right now and what might be a pragmatic solution acceptable to the current Home Secretary?
