Gender again. Sorry!

Im disappointed, but not the least surprised, that none of you Trans Rights Activists have anything to say about the report which catalogued the harms caused by cross sex hormones. Cat got your tongues?

That would require thinking about both the broader implications and the details. Most of the Naca gents prefer to think only about their own limited male experience. They have no curiosity about why 35% of kids referred to gender clinics had moderate to severe autistic traits or why 90% of the girls referred were gay, or concern that suicide rates go up in those that surgically transition.

For several of the men who contribute on here women's spaces and services are looked on as a reward for men who have made an effort to perform femininity. They don't really look beyond that to the implications for everyone else.

I don't know what it is that I've said which has led you to that conclusion.

You've said nothing. Which is my point. I can only hope that you're beginning to realise that your position in defence of the cult of transgenderism is untenable.

Well I don't view transgenderism as a cult, for a start, not do I think that defending transgender people is untenable, it became pointless on this thread some time ago though.

My position on hormone treatment is very similar to @icowden's, hence liking it.

There's nothing more tragic than a member of team queerio who hates the LGBTQ community so much.

There's a lot I don't like about it as well*, but to go on wild rants conflating gender dysphoria with paedophilia is just wrong.

*Today, for example my workplace is celebrating Pride by having a drag act, Lucy Phurr, in the office around the office. I don't have a problem with the drag act, but I do have a problem with them wandering around a call centre floor because the background chatter will very irritating.

:stop: There is no reason to have a drag act in an office during working hours.

If they want to have a private party, so be it

I agree. It doesn't have to be a private party though, it'd be cool if it was when the floor shut at 9pm and it was an after work thing.

I suspect it's been organised by someone who doesn't actually know what our particular office space looks like.

A lot of people find drag queens to be sexist caricatures of women and as dated and regressive as blackface. I would no more want to see a drag queen at my place of work than I would want to see the Black and White Minstrels.

That drag queens, trans rights, furries, and fetish gear have become synonymous with Pride is a bit depressing. It probably explains the increasing lack of support for it from both punters and sponsors. Half a dozen or so have been cancelled so far.
